I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I am writing this one because I just finished flipping a house in south austin and I couldn’t be happier with my choice for cabinets. They were easily the best part of my otherwise stressful flip. I had been wanting to use UB Kitchens for a long time after seeing all of their kitchens on instagram, but I thought I couldn’t afford them. I stopped by their Burnett Road location about six months ago and was pleasantly surprised that they have a couple of cabinet lines that they reserve exclusively for builders and flippers that look awesome installed and actually worked with my budget. I was going to use my trim guys to put the cabinets in but they gave me a really good deal on pricing and I didn’t have to deal with anything. Craig, my designer got back to me quickly, delivered on time and met me on the job site so I didn’t have to chase them down like other cabinet companies I have used in the past. UB Kitchens was an important part of a complete renovation I had done to my house in 2018. The job they did was first class, done on-time, and has stood the test of time. That said, when I had a paint issue (8 years later that was clearly not the fault of anything UB did), I was blown away with how helpful they were in making sure my cabinets got back to perfection. They took the time to take ownership of the issue, correct it so that my cabinets look brand new again, and were relentless in making sure my wife and I were happy with the result. Our kitchen remodel journey with UB Kitchens was an outstanding experience and the results are nothing short of amazing. From the initial consultation to the final revel exceeded our expectations. It’s not every day that we give a 5-Star review, but in the case with UB Kitchen it was easy. From the time we called to get an appointment with Elizabeth to the final installation, it was professional, detailed, and fun. The entire team at UB Kitchen delivered all the way, from design to the masterful craftsmanship during the installation. They brought in ideas that we didn’t even think of! UB Kitchen worked like a team with Fine Line Remodeling and GNS Custom Stoneworks to give us exactly what we envisioned. We love our kitchen every day and will call on them in the further for cabinet needs.

I cannot say enough good things about UB Kitchens, especially their knowledge, service, and design skills. Home renovations are inevitably stressful, but I could always count on UB to follow through and deliver exactly as agreed upon. Joe did such a great job designing our kitchen that it turned out resembling a kitchen worth double or triple what we actually spent on cabinets. Joe was also the nicest person I worked with during our renovations. The installation crews were very professional and thorough. I’m so glad I read Google reviews when finding a cabinet company, so I’m happy to report that these reviews of UB are legitimate.

We have worked with UB Kitchens twice and both times were fabulous. In 2015, Eric helped us to choose beautiful, rustic knotty alder vanities with a furniture-look for our master bath. The craftsmanship was quality, and they still look gorgeous 8 years later. In Summer 2023, we decided to tackle a kitchen renovation and immediately knew we wanted to make UB Kitchens our first stop. Our vision was to lose a wall in order to open up an awkward U-shaped kitchen and bring more light into our living and entertaining area. Joe saw the vision right away and designed us the kitchen of our dreams. I was afraid losing a wall would mean sacrificing storage space, but Joe managed to find a place for everything. UB also meticulously maintains a preferred vendor list. We interviewed all of their recommended contractors and you could not go wrong hiring any one of them. Countless friends have shared nightmare kitchen reno stories that caused us to delay this project for years. I am happy to say that the team of UB Kitchens, Fine Line Remodeling and GNS Custom Stoneworks coordinated a time line and stuck to it, finishing work ahead of time several times during the project. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone pursuing a cabinetry project.

Great process from end to end. Elizabeth and crew worked with us to design just the right kitchen and get it installed. Few hiccups along the way from the manufacturer were handled professionally, assuring we got just what we expected.

We bought a home and began renovations on the space in the Fall of 2022, with a hope to work with UB Kitchens for the second time on a kitchen remodel, and for the second time, the UBK team did not disappoint. Joe and Liz quickly put designs together that maximized the space of our kitchen area, opening the kitchen and dining areas comfortably. The team coordinated the installation of the cabinetry with our other contracting team (Catalyst Construction, whom UB had also recommended), navigating the initially proposed timeline seamlessly. We now have a kitchen that feels brighter, lighter, and more open and yet comprises the same square footage that we had initially: the team leveraged the space and their beautiful cabinetry to make the kitchen itself more useful, accessible, and aesthetically engaging. Separately, but still importantly, everyone at UBK and the teams with which they contract is extraordinarily courteous and conscientious and quick in communication. Special shout out to Eric for facilitating the communication between their offices and the teams helping with the installation and clean-up during and after the job itself. If you're looking to remodel your kitchen, reach out to the team at UB Kitchens immediately. It's *the best* decision you can make for your home.

Had a great experience working with UB Kitchens. Joe was very receptive to incorporating my design ideas, even the ones that are not very conventional. The installers were wonderful, again I had some unique asks, and Nick worked to make sure we ended with my dream kitchen.

We met with Elizabeth to design our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. We initially chose the Mid Cabinet line but when they reneged on the initial delivery date with a delay of 9 months, UB kitchens absorbed the price differential and switched us to the Urban Effects line of cabinets. These were delivered within two months of the switch and the cabinets were installed by our contractor. That installation was not all it could be, so we had UB kitchens do the re-install. Their installers are superb, they know their business. Elements of the cabinetry that were damaged upon receipt, or in the installation process were replaced at no cost to us. We now have wonderful cabinets in our kitchen, dining and master bath areas. We would highly recommend UB kitchens for custom cabinetry design and installation!

After reading stellar reviews online for UB Kitchens, our first visit with Joe and Liz sealed the deal! We aren't fancy, but we are decisive. Joe and Liz created a design we loved based on all of our wants with shaker cabinetry we weren't sure we'd find within our budget - rift sawn oak! We decided to include new cabinets in our adjoining laundry area, and add floating shelves and cabinets in our breakfast area too. Fast-forward 7 months (we're planners!) and the cabinets were installed exactly as scheduled. The materials were even more beautiful than we thought! The craftsmanship of the cabinets and trim combined with the attention to detail of the installers blew us away! The tiny hiccups that occurred were remedied swiftly and completely, and included our input at every step. If you've ever hired the RIGHT people for a major home renovation, you know that sense of relief and PRIDE you feel once the job is complete. Seriously, if a kitchen renovation is in your future, RUN do not walk to UB Kitchens and ask for Joe and Liz! Bonus tip - their connections to contractors and countertop folks were equally amazing, creating a 3-business dream team that took our entire kitchen right outta the 80s from start to finish! Love UB!!! (Please excuse the lack of a breakfast table in our photo... currently backordered! 😂)

UB Kitchens was really wonderful to work with! Craig worked with us to create an efficient and stylish galley kitchen within budget. Timelines were clearly defined and accurate. We hit very few snags and could not be happier with the result. Install was very professional, took about 5 days as predicted and went smoothly. When a handle hole was drilled in the wrong place, they replaced the cabinet door at no charge. Their product lines are great quality (we selected the mid price range cabinetry by Urban Effects) and we don't anticipate another kitchen remodel ever again. But if faced with this again, we'll come right back to UB Kitchens.

We had a fantastic experience with UB Kitchens. From the design process with Craig (who helped guide us through all the many options we were considering!) to the very accurate time estimate on delivery, installation - they were just terrific to work with. Because of the challenges with supply chain and our appliances delivery (it took a full year to receive everything), they had to make several trips out after the original installation to make adjustments and they were always quick to turn it around. We love the kitchen!

We are extremely happy with UB Kitchens. Craig was our designer and was super easy to work with. He provided great suggestions for fit and functionality from where to put appliances and cabinet features to where to put lighting which we hadn't considered (ceiling and under-cabinet). The installation team did a great job too and found and fixed a couple of flaws on final inspection that we hadn't noticed. Overall, it was a great experience.

UB Kitchens installed new cabinets in my kitchen and I'm super happy! Andria, my designer, was a delight to work with. She offered great ideas but didn't push me. Her communication was fantastic as I was my own GC and learning as I went. It takes a while for the cabinets to be fabricated but they were delivered exactly when I was told they would be. Our installers, Allen and Brandon, were polite and very enjoyable to have in the house. Allen is a true craftsman, working to blend my wall crown molding with the cabinet crown molding seamlessly. They stopped and asked for my input several times which I really appreciated. I purchased semi-custom cabinets but feel like I got custom ones!! The attention to detail was beyond what I expected. The owner even came by to pick up trash one evening! I would highly recommend UB Kitchens to anyone looking for new cabinets.

UB Kitchens remodeled my kitchen in 2021. I would use them again and again, on any remodel in the future. Their designers, and installers were all superb! Professional, on time, and the finished product is beautiful. They pay incredible attention to detail, and the owners make sure that things are done as promised. They also stay on track in terms of their timeline, and always show up when they are scheduled. Their staff are incredibly courteous, professional and talented at what they do. All around it was a great experience... I can't recommend them enough!

I have known Adam Johnson since he moved to Austin and moved into his office on Longhorn Boulevard. He and his staff have always acted with integrity and honesty, both in dealing with customers, property managers or servicing clients. About 4 years ago, we had a flood at our house and decided that it was time to get UB Kitchens to design our new kitchen. From the first call to the final installation of the cabinets, UB Kitchens did what they say they would and did it in a timely manner. Their design team worked with us to help come up with a concept of what we wanted. They asked the right questions, showed us options, showed us what it looked like in 3D and finally came up with the final rendering. They ordered the cabinets which arrived when they said they would. Their installation team was on time, very professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. Our overall experience with UB Kitchens has been nothing but fantastic. I wish all the trades worked in such a professional manner as UB Kitchens. I have recommended many of our friends to contact UB Kitchens and they have all had positive experiences. I am so glad I chose UB Kitchens to install new cabinets for our kitchen and bathrooms. The cabinets are gorgeous and I was very impressed with the customer service I received. Customer service is the priority at UB Kitchens. Adam installed beautiful cabinets in our kitchen remodel 11 years ago. We were told that the cabinets were guaranteed and now, over a decade later when a drawer soft-close wasn't working, they promptly came out and made the soft-close good again - just as we'd been promised they would all those years ago. This is the second time we have used Craig and UB Kitchens - our first time was a few years ago for a complete kitchen remodel (down to the studs, walls removed), and this time was for a master bath reno (same deal - walls removed, down to studs, everything gone). 1) It says a lot (to us at least) that for 2nd job a few years later - the bathroom - we didn't even get other quotes for the job. That is not usually how we operate, and certainly every other aspect of the job we got other quotes. 2) One of the great things about working with Craig and UB is that they give you the vision of your space. They basically designed our kitchen and bathroom, to the point where we handed the contractor the "plans" as they were (they aren't plans, but good enough to work off of. this saves you a bunch of time and expense of hiring a designer or architect. 3) Craig is always available - by text or phone. when our crazy work schedules - this was very important to us. 4) (Stuff) Happens in construction. mistakes are made, pieces are left off orders, things don't arrive in time, wrong pieces were ordered, etc. Craig and his team ALWAYS owned up to their mistakes and made it right. There was no arm twisting or threats. they acknowledged when a mistake happened, and went over and beyond to make it right. In my mind, that is really all you can ask for. Things happen during major construction projects, I think that just comes with the territory. You want to align yourself with people and companies that stand behind their products and services. Craig and Eric do that 110% - and it is a huge stress relief to know that you and them both have the same goals and can work together to achieve them in a positive and helpful manner. when constructions projects get stressful, it is good to know you are aligned with your (cabinet makers). I have no idea, but I assume it is possible to save a small amount of money going with another provider. I would suggest that in the long term, this small savings is not worth your time when it comes to the level of customer service that UB Kitchen provides. We are very happy with the products and professionalism that we have experienced with UB Kitchens (Craig and Eric) on two different occasions (Kitchen and Master Bath). they essentially designed both of these areas through the cabinet design/order. We are happy with our decision to use UB Kitchens.

We had been working on a kitchen remodel for awhile. The process is tedious, frustrating and more than a little scary. Then, my wife found UBK. The cabinets were the quality that we expected and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable (thanks, Liz.) We were able to find exactly what we wanted. Once we committed, the rest fell into place. UBK met the schedule. The installation crew was polite, professional and did excellent work. No problems, no disappointments. Folks, I cannot say enough about this company. From the moment we stepped into their showroom, Joe took us in hand. Everything they promised to do they did. The quality of the product is terrific. We've done a lot of building in our lives and for this, our last (!!) project, they made it a pleasure. The installers showed up when they were scheduled to and appear to LOVE their jobs. Imagine that. No resentful, grouchy workers acting like they are doing you a big favor just coming to work. The finish work was excellent, the guys extremely skilled. The cabinets were installed exactly as scheduled and when a misunderstanding occurred they were so accommodating and did whatever they could to make sure we were happy. I recently completely overhauled my kitchen through UB Kitchens and I'm very happy with the result. When I first walked in the door, I was disappointed that they did not do top to bottom remodeling--only kitchen cabinets. After exploring other options, I began to feel more comfortable with the idea of hiring a separate contractor for the rest of the work, so I returned to UB Kitchens for another look. It was then that I discovered that they provide a list of vetted contractors, that is, contractors that they have worked with in the past and can recommend. That made the contractor selection process safer and easier in my opinion. I worked with Craig at UB Kitchens and found him to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Based on kitchen measurements he took and my basic input on a revised layout, he created a 3D computer model and added some features of his own to complete the model. The realized version is just like the model. No surprises. The installers were meticulous and took their time in order to get everything right. From the list of recommended contractors, I chose Fine Line Remodeling. I feel that I made a good choice, as Jason and his team do first-rate professional work. What I observed is that Craig and Jason work with each other so seamlessly that you do not feel like you are working with two separate companies. They both often work with GNS Custom Stoneworks, who turned out to give me the best bid for my quartz countertops. So, they all communicate with each other to get the job done, and I don't have to be involved with any coordination. Here's a photo of the kitchen as it looks now. I've got an issue with the new refrigerator that needs to be resolved, so it's not pushed back quite all the way into its space. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with the cabinet work. Based on my experience, I can recommend UB Kitchens even if you need a complete kitchen overhaul.

The most professional designers and installers we've ever dealt with. This is our 3rd kitchen remodel and by far the most pleasant experience we've ever had. Andria was our designer and she was fantastic. Really helped us put our vision to paper and offered a ton of great suggestions. She was so patient amidst all the changes we put her through! Of all the years of being in the custom remodeling business, never have I had such the experience that I did with UB Kitchens. My client was looking for a high-end custom look so I recommended they talk to designer Joe Hoffer who I had worked with on several other unique projects in the past. Joe knocked it out of the park with my clients. They had that instant connection with him and felt comfortable because he was truly listening to what they wanted versus having someone sell them cabinets. As a contractor I really appreciate having someone with his vision and experience guide my clients through the design and selection process, especially when it comes down to the finer details. Excellent products, amazing customer service and top notch installation crew. When we started our kitchen remodeling process my wife and I were a little overwhelmed by the whole process. Noe at UB Kitchens was fantastic and really helped guide us and offer really great design advice as well as ease our worries about all the things that could go wrong. I was super impressed with their warranty and the fact that their installers are employees and not sub contracted. They were all so professional, hard working and kind. Don't bother looking anywhere else if you're thinking about a kitchen or bath remodel.

Here's why I chose UB: They offered extended warranties on their cabinetry and the installers were not subcontracted, which is always more reliable. I have done multiple remodels in the past, and I want to know that I can call someone if I have problems down the line. UB was easy to deal with, gave me a great design, told me which of their employees/installers were coming to my house, but most importantly offered me a lifetime warranty on the cabinets themselves...while other companies couldn't. The installer even told me that the cabinets are made up in Kansas (better than some "made in China" junk) Overall, service was awesome, and I'm beyond satisfied with my kitchen If you are going to be in your house for a while and want a quality product that isn’t going to fall apart, give UB a shout. You'll be happy you did.

Craig Kamdar was our kitchen designer and oversaw the installation process. He was readily available for all questions. He even came to our home every day during the install. We had 17 cabinets & 31 drawers installed. The skill level of their master carpenters was incredible! I went to UB kitchens on South Congress last August & met Eric. After talking with him, I knew I wanted them to do our remodel. They do not require a $1500 non- refundable deposit to come to your home & draw up plans.👍 Refreshing! We now have a beautiful & functional kitchen and are trilled with the results. My wife and I went to UB Kitchens after reading the glowing yelp reviews. The showroom is very well organized with extremely professional displays that give you a great idea of a some finished kitchens and there are multiple lines to choose from for different budget points. To me their show room is way more realistic than the stock stuff you see at the big box stores. Talking with Adam, I realized quickly that they build the displays themselves to what appeals to Austin style, unlike the stuff you usually see on display at the big stores. UB also hooked us up with some affiliates to install the counter tops and a backsplash, so you can do the whole package through them or just the parts you want. We did cabinets and counter tops through them, but bought our own backsplash tile that we had installed by one of their recommended tile installers. The result is fantastic, the kitchen looks amazing. We feel like we got a really good deal and the service was outstanding, Adam and Anne were very responsive during the entire process, always soliciting our feedback. You won't get that from Lowes or Home Depot, I can tell you this from experience. I think Adam has a very good sense of the importance of customer satisfaction for a small business. He is super friendly and made a real effort to create a personal connection with us in a genuine, "non-cheesy" way. He also offered up a lot of support and options to help us save some money in various areas of our project. The longer I'm around, the higher I value genuinely good service. I would recommend these guys to anybody whether your budget is large, small, or somewhere in between.

Have seen lots of good reviews on the product and the design assistant. My experience is all of that is true. Had them install my cabinets 4 years ago. Had a problem with a hinge and they came back and fixed it 4 years later. The followup is unheard of in this day and age. They do what they say when they say they will so it.

We had a wonderful experience with UB Kitchens. My wife and I decided to have all of the cabinets for our new house made by a different company than what the builder was using. We met with at least 5 or 6 companies, but in the end, we decided to go with UB Kitchens because of their warranty. their attention to detail and amazing customer service. Craig Kamdar was our design consultant, and he was extremely patient, accommodating to our needs and budget; and above all, extremely diligent throughout the whole process. All deadlines were met, and the product was delivered on the day and time previously agreed upon. Their installers are amazing, a big shout out to Rafael and Abraham who took care of our project, and who are simply amazing. All follow-up visits (for touch ups and detailing) were done promptly and always taking us into consideration. I am personally extremely happy and satisfied with the quality of the cabinets, and the service we received. If I had to do it again, I would pick UB Kicthens for sure.

I can not say enough great things about these guys. This was our second purchase with UBK and from start to finish, the attention to detail was so refreshing. Even the delivery guys clearly cared about the quality of their work when they came out. We never felt rushed and our designer Craig, stayed involved in every aspect of the kitchen purchase - design, install, and finish out. For a kitchen as large as ours I expected a lot of challenges. We had very few hurdles and those we had, UBKitchens bent over backwards to make certain we were involved in the resolution and happy with our final product. Class act all the way around.

I can give no fewer than 5 stars to this company for every interaction we've had. They provided us assistance designing the space, listened to our questions and concerns about every tiny detail of the cabinetry, and made sure we were happy and informed every step of the way. We worked with Joe, who clearly has a lot of great design experience and I felt like his insight on how to best lay out the kitchen was both incredibly practical and gorgeous. In addition, when our granite installation was lagging (due to UB Kitchens offering to move up our install, which was awesome) - one of the guys from UB called our granite company to see if they could move up their date as well. We ended up getting a full and functional kitchen almost a month ahead of schedule thanks entirely to UB's team taking initiative and expecting the same of their partners. But the reason I finally remembered to write this review is because our kitchen faucet (which was new when we did the remodel!) had an internal leak that we didn't catch until the bottom of our beautiful cabinet had water damage. Devastated, I e-mailed Joe to ask him what we could do. At no cost, they sent a member of their team out to repair the damage - now it looks as good as new! I could not ask for more of a company - professional, quality service from a company that stands behind their work 100%.

CHOOSE UB! We scoped out a couple other Cabinet Companies before we had Craig come out to help us with a design. Our kitchen was so NOT functional. We were over it and needed more cabinet space and a refresh for our outdated kitchen. Craig came out and made some suggestions that we had never even thought of. Craig was so helpful and we are glad we went with UB. It was the little things like, move the fridge cabinet over 6 inches and put the microwave in the cabinet, do full height cabinets and stuff like that that made all the difference. Cabinets are in and are beautiful!

Best experience ever!! High quality cabinetry (Made in the USA). Our family had recently relocated from Austin, TX to Fort Collins, CO. We called UB Kitchens in Austin to get advice on our kitchen renovation in Colorado (word of mouth, they are the best in the city of Austin). To make a long story short we ended up using UB kitchens. The owner, Adam, came out to Colorado with super designer, Joe, and measured away. We couldn't be happier with our design and our cabinets. Thank you Adam for making this a wonderful experience. We LOVE our new Kitchen!

A couple of friends had used UB Kitchens during their remodel for cabinetry. I had seen some of it in person, and thought it looked pretty good. More importantly, they told me that the people who work for UB are incredibly helpful, professional, and top-notch. Cabinetry will end up being one of the most expensive components of a remodel, so you want to make sure you are in good hands. I’ve been told things like this before, and have usually been disappointed at some point in the process. I am also a very detail oriented person, and I like to know exactly what thickness plywood is being used, construction details, etc. Let me say: UB’s staff for measuring and ordering is in a league of their own. In fact, I had contacted one or two other similar companies that never got back to me after having provided a basic layout and template. I also went to big-box stores and price compared. Sure, some other brands might be a little cheaper, but you will end up paying more for it in the end when inexperienced and/or lowest-bid contractors install them. Everyone should also know: the cabinetry itself is somewhat important, but the install is even more critical. My installer knew all of the details. He spent an entire day leveling and shimming the base cabinets. They shoot a laser from one corner of the room and it levels against every wall. He spent another day just dealing with the finish out and trim around the walls as it is an older home and not entirely “true”. I want to mention another point: I noticed a cabinet or two was not 3/4” as I specified, but the staff promptly explained that the finished edges would abut one another and be an upcharge that was borderline unethical for them to order for me. Literally, they were telling me that spending that extra money was absolutely unnecessary. Moreover, a flat edge to edge abutment would not allow as much adjustment for a flush front edge. My point being: the entire team...from the cabinet experts, to the delivery folks, to the installer(s), to the owner himself, are remarkable in a day where everyone is trying to cut corners and rush through a job. You can go with another company, but I highly doubt they are going to measure up to UB Kitchens.

From start to finish, UB Kitchens helped us create a kitchen during our remodel that was everything we wanted. Every detail was thought of and installation and performance fabulous!

About a year ago we decided to purchase our kitchen cabinets from UB Kitchens. It was a wonderful experience. UB Kitchens designer Joe Hoffer did a fantastic job listening to us and understanding what we wanted. Also, he is a designer with technical construction knowledge which a lot of designers are weak in. The UB Kitchens installers were equally excellent. The cabinets are well made and durable. The installation workmanship is flawless. I purchased a built in wine cooler which was not part of the new cabinet installation. The installer did a fabulous job finishing the cabinet so my wine cooler looked like it was part of the cabinet purchase. About a year before we purchased a very nice custom made cabinet for our master bath room from a local custom cabinet company. The UB Kitchen Cabinet is superior in quality compared to it. Joe is very busy but always called me back. UB Kitchens doesn't advertise much maybe because they are is such demand that they have a rather long backlog. UB Kitchens and Joe Hoffer are excellent to do business with.

We highly recommend UB Kitchens! The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Pricing is very competitive but the attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff is unbeatable. Craig and Bryon made the design process and installation so easy and communicated clearly every step of the way. Rafael did a beautiful job installing the cabinetry and we appreciate how much time and care was taken to ensure everything was completed perfectly. We are so happy with the result!

When we decided to remodel our kitchen, we read the reviews that the big box stores had listed on the internet. Many of them were negative about the installation of kitchen cabinets. Curtis Kishur / UB Kitchens has made the cabinet portion of our current home renovation the easiest, most pleasant part of this project. From the time he first came to our house to help with the cabinets for our guest bath two years ago, Curtis has been patient and helpful. For this current project, he helped us figure out how to maximize cabinet space in the new space we would have in the kitchen after we removed a portion of one wall. He suggested the design of the bank of cabinets we added to a wall that formerly had no cabinets. He made multiple trips to our house (which is in NW San Antonio, not anywhere near the UB Kitchens SA location) to check the measurements and to reassure my husband and me after the contractor measured differently. He worked with our contractor to make sure our cabinets were installed in a timely manner. He answers my emails quickly, and always has a solution for any problem I present him. The granite fabricator made the counter by the pantry too long, which interfered with opening the pantry door. Our project manager thought the remedy was to readjust the hinges on the pantry. I didn't want anyone other than UB Kitchens experts touching my cabinets, so I held off the project manager and in a panic attached a photo of the problem to an email plea for help from Curtis. He responded quickly and said that the counter needed to be cut; adjusting the pantry door hinges would not solve the problem. I told the project manage, and he had the granite fabricator shorten the counter. They were very careful not to damage my pantry door, and the problem is fixed. Today, while FINALLY moving back into my kitchen, I bent down to place my dog's water dish back in the place we kept it before the remodel. As I bent down to place the bowl, I noticed a tiny chip in the wood at the very bottom of the side wall of the pantry. I emailed a picture to Curtis, and he's reassuring me that something can be done. I can't even begin to describe the relief I have working with Curtis. Everything else about this project has been disorganized, haphazard, and disappointing. People don't show up when the project manager says they will (including the project manager), the contractor never shows up (he promised before the work began that he always visits work sites), and no one answers our emails or text messages when we send messages trying to get information about when the mistakes and over-sights will be corrected. Working with Curtis and UB Kitchens has been such a relief by comparison! And I know we will still be enjoying our beautiful cabinets years from now, as we are still enjoying our beautiful UB Kitchen Cabinets we had installed in our condominium in Austin. My husband and I appreciate Curtis and UB Kitchens attention to detail and customer service so very much. We are recommending UB Kitchens to everyone we know!

My experience with UB Kitchens was excellent. I recently purchased an older home which needed remodeling. After extensive research I chose UB Kitchens. Craig and Brian were easy to work with and they answered my (endless) questions with great patience. Installation was a little tricky as I wanted to keep the original floor which led to some problems but the installers were extremely creative and came up with options that were better than the original plan. Craig and Brian also followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the kitchen, replacing doors, adding extra shelves, etc. Craig was even able to find the exact duplicate cabinet pulls that I had in a bathroom. I would highly recommend UB Kitchens.

Dream Kitchen accomplished. After 10+ years with an outdated kitchen, I finally had the particle board cabinets removed and replaced with beautiful espresso shaker cabinets. I chose to go with UB Kitchens over a custom cabinet maker for several reasons. UB Kitchens has a list of people they work with often. The relationship my designer has with their list of resources was invaluable. During cabinet install, I was asked a question that the contractor needed to answer. Because UB Kitchens partners with my contractor, the installer was able to get an answer on his own. The countertop fabricator mentioned he prioritizes UB customers and he did an excellent job. Craig, my designer, even made a trip to Best Buy on his own to check out dimensions of a microwave to ensure it would fit in my new space. The actual cabinets seem well made and look beautiful. The service from UB Kitchens is outstanding. I know that I can call them for the lifetime of my cabinets and get service.

After having Mid Continent cabinets installed terribly by another company in Austin, UB Kitchens came in and saved the day! They fixed everything and now we LOVE are Mid Continent cabinets! I couldn't be more grateful and thankful to Adam Johnston and the UB Kitchen team. They go above and beyond!

Simply cannot recommend enough. Super helpful during the initial design phase with handy 3D previews. They were always on time, and interacted in a friendly manner. Not only did our cabinets look great post-install, but they clearly take their work quite seriously and did their own thorough inspections. They ended up finding a blemish I didn't even notice, and replaced an entire drawer for free. In fact, we had a water leak under our sink recently, and they came and covered the damaged board with a new one, once again, free of charge. You cannot even tell there was ever a problem.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. During my 8 month renovation, I dealt with maybe 20 subcontracting firms (I was my own GC) and UB Kitchens was hands down my #1 favorite. UB Kitchens did all the cabinets for my kitchen, pantry, bar, guest bath and master bathroom. Joe Hoffer was my designer and is a rock star designer in addition to being one of the most patient and nice guys you'll ever meet. Esteban did a quality job of installation and kept coming back until he felt everything was right--he and Joe even sent back some interior cabinet structures that didn't meet their standards at no cost to me. In addition, everyone I dealt with in the office and showroom (which are GREAT) was equally as committed to making me a happy camper. Truly amazing, and rare, commitment to the customer from top to the bottom.

Our kitchen was originally built in 1976 and had Corian counter tops added in the 90's. It was cramped, inconvenient, and time to update. Craig Kamdar at UB Kitchens showed us how nice our kitchen could be. His computer generated images showed us how nice and spacious our kitchen could be by reconfiguring the cabinet arrangement and using modern cabinet interior features, such as slide out shelves and a Lazy Susan. Craig also showed us where we had wasted space in the kitchen and we were able to add some additional cabinets. We also had UB Kitchens put in a new bathroom vanity and I love that, too. The UB Kitchen cabinet installers were exceptional. Bryon Snowball from UBK inspected the completed installation with more scrutiny than I had and ensured the perfection of their product. I love my new kitchen. I would use UB Kitchens again.

We had a very challenging renovation (total gut job) and were unsure that a new kitchen could be had due to the ever increasing costs incurred by the original scope of work. We can't say enough good things about our UB Kitchens experience. These are people who offer a great product, are extremely responsive, totally know what they are doing, get you on a schedule and actually adhere to that timing, call if they are running at all late, and stick with the job daily till it is done. The installers are artists at heart: on several occasions, they questioned what their notes said they were to do, asking us if that was really what we had intended and discussing options and their ideas with us. Then when we ran into a tricky situation that involved the placement of our expanded kitchen island, Julio definitely demonstrated his artistry and ingenuity in solving that problem! Overnight we went from panic to joy, thanks to his creativity. Craig Kamdar, our salesman, came by the house 2-3 times to check on the work, discuss questions we had, etc. We felt very "attended to" from the moment we first engaged him. Finally, it's challenging to have workmen in the house in an ongoing fashion (and we had been dealing with that for several months before UB Kitchens ever arrived); and again, we cannot say enough good things about how pleasant the UB Kitchens guys were during their 6-7 days in the heart of our house. Five stars to EVERYone involved in creating our new kitchen (which, by the way, we love!).

We waited a long time to get our kitchen remodeled because we had heard what an ordeal it can be...6 weeks to two months of disruption, no cooking or washing dishes, etc. but UB Kitchens and our outstanding contractor, Jason Hayes with Fine Line Remodeling, made the whole thing easy! Craig with UB did a terrific job of suggesting functional design and the cabinets were ready almost a full week earlier than estimated. In all, the job took less than a month and was professionally performed in every respect. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would recommend UB Kitchens and Jason to anyone.

Our friends had originally referred us to UB Kitchens. So we checked them out and 3 other providers. Between the friendly and inviting folks we dealt with directly (Adam, Chad, and Estebon) to the excellent direction and guidance on our incredibly gorgeous kitchen (Chad) we are more than satisfied with our final product. All parties are usually kitchen-centric and now we have the best party kitchen ever.

UB Kitchens was recommended to us by a family member and also a local contractor. We were greeted immediately by Curtis Kishur, who by the way has been in contact with us the entire build time which is extremely important when tackling a remodel. Anyways, we came to Curtis and UB kitchens with just ideas, nothing set in stone, within a day he had an entire custom kitchen layout specifically highlighting our wants and needs. Curtis was patient enough to actually listen and not interject his own ideas unless we asked, which we actually used some of his designs in our now custom kitchen. When it came time to install, Curtis took the time to conduct a meeting with my contractor and myself on site at my home to make sure all was well and spot on by doing an on site inspection/final measure. Being prior military I can appreciate someone has the "attention to detail" attitude and who is diligent in what they do. We could not be happier with our kitchen and Curtis' expertise and professionalism. I would recommend UB Kitchens to anyone who is planning a DIY remodel or a contractor looking for an excellent design team. UB Kitchens is an A++ in my book and Curtis was awesome!

UB Kitchens is best in class and I would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel a kitchen (or bathroom). We bought our house with the intention of renovating our dysfunctional kitchen but were stuck in a rut of trying to figure out what to do until we met UB Kitchens. Their process, experience, knowledge and responsiveness was top notch. Our Designer/Project Manager was Joe Hoffer. Joe is creative and savvy and a pleasure to work with. In addition to helping design our kitchen, he also helped us select vendors, finishes, appliances, etc. Joe was our advocate and he really helped drive the process. Our project was a "down to the studs" renovation, complete with moving walls, plumbing, electrical, replacing flooring. With the help of Joe and UBK we were able to substantially complete the project in 40 days and wrap it up completely in less than 60 days.

The first thing I asked Adam was “can you work on a long distance kitchen remodel?” He said “definitely!” and was so nice that I felt comfortable remodeling our condo from miles away. The galley kitchen project came in on budget and was all handled via email, text and phone calls. I still haven’t been to UBK showroom; instead I have the team’s mobile numbers. Joe designed a fantastic layout to maximize space. Bryon arranged the installation on time, and performed a review of the work, sending me BEAUTIFUL pictures via email. A long distance remodel is based entirely on COMMUNICATION, HONESTY & TRUST. UBK is amazing, we are just thrilled and grateful we found the right company in Austin!

If someone walked into our home, we would say "Welcome! Welcome!". That's exactly how we were greeted by Adam when we walked into UB Kitchens. We felt like special guests from the beginning, then like family. Working with Joe on the design of our kitchen and guest bath was so much fun. He listened to our ideas for our dream kitchen, suggested features we hadn't even thought of, kept our budget in mind and made it happen! The professionalism of this company starts with ownership and runs all the way through to design, delivery, installation, inspection and quality control. We've been "Wowed" and so have our friends and family.

We spent hours picking our cabinets only to find out that they lost our records and we had to go through the process again. After choosing again, we ended up choosing cabinets that were considerably more expensive. UB Kitchens matched our original quote despite the cabinet upgrades. They may have made a mistake losing our records, but they owned up to it big time. Joe went over every aspect of the install in excruciating detail, all the while showing great patience with our newbie questions. Very detail oriented, and very customer service oriented. I would choose them again for any cabinet project.

U B illin if you don't call these guys first when planning a kitchen and/or bath remodel. Sorry for the blaspheme, Reverend Run! These guys are pros, though. It's tricky to find such a great team. I was looking for someone to help with cabinets while remodeling the kitchen and baths in my house (WHO'S HOUSE?). It turned out so much better than I expected and everyone on their team was professional. I've referred them to several clients who have all gone on the work with them. Call Joe, he knows what's it all about. It's like that. And that's the way that it is.

I've had two jobs done by UBKitchens in the last 5 years, and each one has been a professionally done, high-quality experience. One was a suburban house and the other was a small city condo, but each was a total re-design. Their teams adjusted beautifully and did the job right and on time, what I consider a very reasonable price. I'm a professional artist and designer (so my standards are high), and yet each time, they impressed me with their quality design-sense and their attention to detail - even noticing and correcting flaws I hadn't seen. One small problematic sub-contractor was immediately replaced and the problem fixed. They are locally owned, and independent, and they do great work. Can't miss. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Overall, I had a great experience in working with UB Kitchens and I highly recommend them as your "go-to" place for kitchen cabinets.

We bought a house 4 years ago that needed a TON of work including a new kitchen. We had 8 weeks to complete everything so, needless to say, it would have been pretty stressful if UB Kitchens wasn't in the picture. Because they were so professional and fun to work with, they made dealing with other, less reliable vendors bearable. I just can't say enough about this company!! And the best part? I recently worked with them on something else and they were even better, if that's possible. UB Kitchens is the best company I have ever worked with, period!!
