Before you begin your project, we have a few questions that may help you in deciding what you need in your new kitchen. To get you thinking ahead of time, download the PDF to get started and bring this with you to our showroom. Please note, that although we ask about your remodel as a whole, UB Kitchens only provides cabinetry solutions. We are happy to refer you to general contractors should one be required for your project.

Once you’ve made the decision to remodel your kitchen, creating a budget is the first, and most important, part of the process. You will need to determine how much you are willing and able to spend and how much work is involved to complete the project. Our designer will work with you to ensure that your design needs and wants are met all while working within your financial guidelines. The starting point for most of the kitchens we design and install is approximately $25,000 for cabinetry and installation by our team of employee only installers. We do offer contractor grade product for home flippers, and remodelers willing to do their own installation.

Your first visit to our showroom is the beginning of the design consultation process. Our designers will answer all of your questions as best they can and guide you to the cabinet lines that fit your design wants, as well as your financial needs. It is very helpful to bring pictures of your current kitchen and pictures of your vision for your new kitchen. The next step is to take an in-home measure and create a design incorporating all of your design and storage requests.

Once your design is complete, our designer will ask that you come back to our showroom so that you can both go through the design together and make any improvements. At this time, you will make your final door style and finish selections and we will present you a quote for your new kitchen cabinets.
