Step 2
in-home measurement
After receiving a rough estimate from us, if you decide to move forward with UB Kitchens, we will visit your home for a more detailed discussion about your project and to take precise measurements of your space. There’s no substitute for being in your home with a designer; it’s the next logical step toward creating the space you’ve envisioned. This service is complimentary, but please note that we retain the renderings until the cabinets are purchased.
Step 3
design meeting at
ub kitchens
Within seven days of measuring your space, we’ll invite you back to our store to view the first iteration of your design. You’ll see your kitchen come to life on a large screen monitor and actively participate in the design process. During this meeting, we’ll go through all our design ideas and storage solutions, and we can make changes to the existing plan to incorporate any of your ideas. We will present a finished design, but we welcome suggestions, and our software allows for immediate updates to the room. At the end of this meeting, we will incorporate all proposed changes and work towards finalizing the design. This includes providing final pricing while always keeping your budget in mind.
Step 4
contract & order
Once the design process is complete, we’ll meet to review all the detailed drawings and begin the ordering process for your custom cabinetry. The cabinets will be shipped to a dedicated warehouse and stored until your job is ready for installation. On the day you place your order, we’ll collectively decide on an installation date, giving you plenty of notice to prepare the job site. Your designer, along with any member of the UB Kitchens team, will always be available to assist you. We will also be happy to provide copies of all drawings to any tradespeople involved in your project.
Step 5
delivery & installation
Just prior to your scheduled installation, our operations team will contact you to arrange the delivery and installation of your cabinetry. Our skilled employee installers will be ready to start bringing your vision to life. Your designer will be on-site during and after the installation to ensure your kitchen turns out exactly as you imagined.
